Shenango NX is a cast product that is available in thin plates, thin-walled tube shapes, and complex ladel and nozzle shapes. NX can also be supplied with cross sections of several inches.
Shenango NX has higher strength than Shenango RX and has excellent oxidation resistance. NX falls between RB and RX materials in temperature use up to 1500ºC. In addition to its structual properties, NX has excellent wear properties and is resistant to corrorsion and errosion by molten non-ferrous metals.
