Shenango RB
Molded (slip cast or pressed) and reaction bonded, this material exhibits higher strength than either Shenango RX or NX products below 1390ºC. Shenango RB has excellent wear resistance and is one of its main features.
Shenango RB is used for kiln furniture, structual and wear components, burner and flame tubes, and ballistic armor. Cross sections range from thin-walled shapes up to one inch plus thick walled tubes and tiles.
